The largest flower in the world


The view of  the largest flower in the world -Rafflesia Arnoldii - that was blooming on November 11 2011 in protected rainforest of Bengkulu Indonesia. Rafflesia arnoldii is very weird plant. It has no root, no leaves and no tree. It lives parasiting on its sole host the tetrastigma vine tree. The status of this plant  in near extinction.
