Wave propagation from a drowning moth

This photo was taken in Bengkulu Indonesia. A moth which unfortunately fell down to a pond was moving every part of its body to survive. The movement of the hole body created the wave which propagate radially producing some circle like wave surrounding its body with the highest amplitude. The movement of the wings created a higher frequency wave away from its head. You can see the blurry part away from the head. Meanwhile, the movement of its feet created smaller frequency and amplituds wave away from its foot.
