Blue Shield bug (Zicrona caerulea)







Those photos of Blue Shield bug  (Zicrona caerulea) above were taken in Bengkulu Sumatra Indonesia. This bug is from the family of Pentatomidae. Description: This bug has a shining metallic blue color all over its body including the legs. This is the predator bug. It feeds on other shining blue metallic species called flea beetles (Altica spp.)
