Handmaiden Moth (Syntomoides imaon)

The photo of this tiny flying insect above were taken in Bengkulu Sumatra Indonesia. This Handmaiden Moth has the black hairy thorax. On the first thoracic segment, there is an orange band resembling a "neck" behind the head . Its wings are black with some transparent windows, the hind wing is much smaller than fore wing. It has black abdomen with two orange rings. The overall length of the body is about 10mm. The antennae is black with white color at the top.The closest species name to this species is Syntomoides imaon (Cramer, 1780), another close resemblance is Amata cyssea (Stoll, 1782).
