Yellow and Black Potter Wasp (Delta sp.) in Sumatra Indonesia






Those photos above were taken in Bengkulu Sumatra Indonesia. This black and yellow potter wasp is from the family of Vespidae under Genus of Delta. This wasp has the length of about 20 mm, has black back ground color with beautiful patterned yellow color all over its body. It is hard to find what is the species name for this wasp, but the closest similarity with this wasp belongs to the species of Delta campaniforme.
