Brown Nyctemera Moth (Nyctemera baulus) Sumatra Indonesia


Photos in this post were taken in Bengkulu Sumatra Indonesia. This exotic little moth is brown Nyctemera Moth (Nyctemera baulus). This moth has brown color of the wing with some white marks across the discal and white narrow lines from the base of its upper wing along the veins . The head is yellow with three black marks. There are three black tranverse marks too on the white color thorax.



The abdomen is white with black stripes at the upper side join segments. The antennae are toothed in black color. This moth is from the family of Erebidae under genus of Nyctemera
