Orange Tortricid Moth (Loboschiza koenigiana), Sumatra Indonesia


Photos in this post were taken in Bengkulu Sumatra Indonesia. This beautiful tiny tortricid moth is from the family of family of Tortricidae under genus of  Loboschiza. The species name is Loboschiza koenigiana (Fabricius 1775).



This moth is dominated with orange color all over its body. It has orange head, patterned light orange marks over white background color at the basal to dorsal and patterned dark orange color over black background color from dorsal to terminal of its upperside of wings. The body size about 8 mm.
