Yellow tussock moth (Euproctis sp) Sumatra Indonesia




Those photos above were taken in Bengkulu Sumatra Indonesia. This moth is called tussock moth (Euproctis sp). The head, thorax and legs are hairy. It has yellow color all over its body with pale transverse lines and black spots on the forewings. The size of this moth is about 25mm. This moth is from the family of Lymantriidae under genus of Euproctis.
