Clytini Beetle (Chlorophorus sp), Sumatra Indonesia

Photos in this post were taken in Bengkulu Sumatra Indonesia. This beetle is from the family of Cerambycidae under genus of Chlorophorus.

This small longhorned beetle has black backgroud color of head, legs, thorax and elytra. It has a shiny "neck" followed with white hairy mark at the scutellum extended to the edge of elytra transversely resembling a white collar. The elytra has white hairy marks consist of arched mark from the scutellum to one third of elytra edge, triangular mark at the middle and another triangular mark at the  tip of elytra.

The thorax is rounded at the side and covered with white fine short hair. The legs are covered with white fine short hair too. The body looks slender. The size of body without antennae is about 10mm.
