Triple Banded Moth (Mocis sp), Sumatra Indonesia


This photo was taken in Bengkulu Sumatra Indonesia. This moth is fro the family of Erebidae under genus of Mocis.

This moth has three bands across its upper side of fore wing. The first and second band from the base has grey color, while the third band has darker color. The under wing has different pattern and color. It has zigzaged narrow black bands on it. The size of body about 25 mm, the wing span is about 50mm.
