Plant Bug (Physopelta gutta), Sumatra Indonesia


This photo was taken in Bengkulu Sumatra Indonesia. This bug is from the family of Largidae under genus of Physopelta. The scientific name for this species is Physopelta gutta (Burmeister, 1834).


This bug has redish orange color of body. The dorsal view of this bug looks like a human face with two rounded eyes. It has black antennae with white color at the top segment. The size is about 20mm.
