Green Flower Chafer Beetle (Oxycetonia/Gametis)


This photo was taken in Bengkulu Sumatra Indonesia. This beetle is from the family of Scarabaeidae under genus of Oxycetonia (Gametis). This photo was taken in the avocado tree.
This one below was taken on the mango flower.



This beetle has green color of head, thorax and elytra. It has white color at the thorax and elytra border. Some white marks  and spots are presented at the elytra.It has lamellate antennae. The body is rather broad and flattened. The overall size is about 10mm long.
